Tommy Bowe scored his first try of 2013 to serve a timely reminder to Warren Gatland ahead of the Lions tour.
By Declan Whooley
Bowe who has only just recently recovered from his injury made a fleeting appearance against Saracens last week, but got on the scoresheet tonight with the home side running riot against the Newport Gwent Dragons.
A good break from Ulster saw Nick Williams and Paul Marshall link up before putting the winger in to make the score line 29-0 with Bowe grabbing his 49th try in the competition.
Slaying the Dragons has never looked so easy as it has at Ravenhill this evening, with Ulster winning on a final scoreline of 31-5, 17 points scored with the Welsh side down to 14 men.
The winger spoke earlier this week of his hopes of making a late burst for the tour to Australia, and scores like this will certainly not do his chances any harm.
