See? It wasn’t a fluke after all.
Andy Moran scored one of the points of the Championship so far with one of his first touches of the ball in Mayo’s Connacht semi-final victory over Galway earlier this month.
Because the angle was so impossible, because the wind was blowing the other way and because big Aidan O’Shea was on the edge of the square and may have been an intended target for Andy’s kick, many suggested afterwards that it was a fluke.
To prove that he’s well capable of doing it, Andy recreated the point while under pressure at training for his club Ballaghdereen recently, with evidence provided by his clubmate and fellow Mayo panelist David Drake.
