It all kicked off…
In a battle of former World Champions in Puerto Rico, Juan Manuel Lopez (former WBO World featherweight champion) defeated Wilfredo Vazquez Jr.(former super-bantamweight champion) in the eleventh round of their clash.
Then, a brawl broke out as Vazquez’s trainer burst into the ring and began trading punches with Lopez to the astonishment of everyone watching.
It was an fierce and intense battle as both men, who grew up just a short distance from one another, sought to get the better in what was, for all intents and purposes, a local derby.
In the eleventh round, Lopez blasted Vazquez and after landing a few clean shots, the fight was waved away by the referee but the action was far from finished as Vazquez’s trainer entered the ring and proceeded to have a brawl with Lopez.
He actually lands a couple of clean shots…
