Having raised the roof of the Stade de France during the national anthem, it was only a matter of time before one of the country’s most famous sporting anthems, ‘The Fields of Athenry’ was given an airing by Irish fans.
When it arrived, it was genuinely something special; the fans in the stadium must have no voices left.
Stirring stuff.
