We’re everywhere these days…
There’s a common saying that wherever you go, they’ll always be one person wearing a Mayo jersey and this was proved to be true recently in the US.
But maybe there’s a bit of wiggle room on that phrase, perhaps you can change it to something a bit more inclusive of any jersey representing Ireland.
Phillip Bromwell is over in Rio covering the Olympics for RTÉ, and he spotted a few children in Rio’s favelas sporting Irish jerseys while he was doing a spot of filming.
They’re handy with the ball as well…

We wonder who their favourite Irish stars are, but with the skills that they’re showing, we can pretty confidently say that it’s Darren Randolph.
