When the recession hit a few years ago, GAA clubs, like other organisations across the country, had to become a little more creative when it came to raising much-needed funds.
Although the economic climate has stabilised somewhat, there remains plenty of innovation in the fundraising departments of GAA clubs and we’ve rarely seen better efforts than one that just been sent our way.
Having made contact with a couple of people in the club, we’ve been told that Ballinamore Sean O’Heslin’s GAA Club in Leitrim have nothing to do with the promo below, but we’ve watched it a few times and still can’t get enough of it.
Taking its cue from the National Lottery ads that paint a picture of the lifestyle changes winners can aspire to with a few extra quid in the bank, it suggests that the winning of jackpot (a healthy €12,750) could be put towards a new and faster method of getting the washing dry.
