The 59-year old wrestling legend is currently in a hospital in Las Vegas after collapsing while on a flight to the city on Wednesday, according to reports.
According to wrestlinginc.com, Roberts collapsed on a plane on the way to Las Vegas on Wednesday and was immediately taken to hospital as soon as the flight landed. Roberts had been on his way to see a show featuring Sinn Bodhi, a former WWE wrestler otherwise known as Kizarny and Lucifer Love as well as a host of other stage names.
Roberts is reported to be suffering from double pneumonia, but Bodhi, who has spent time with Roberts in hospital since he was admitted, has been positing positive updates on Twitter in the last 24 hours.

This is Roberts’ second health scare in a matter of months as he revealed earlier in the year that a cancerous tumour had been found in his knee, only weeks after making a semi-comeback to WWE, having appeared on an episode of RAW and having been inducted into the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame class.
Although his condition is very serious, Jake the Snake is nothing if not a fighter, having taken a defiant stance against the cancer diagnosis earlier this year when he told TMZ: “If the devil can’t defeat me, cancer doesn’t stand a chance in hell! Pray for sick children who face this horrible disease ’cause The Snake will be just fine.”
