With Jimmy’s Winning Matches already a massive hit, this tune by Free Whiskey, called Half Cut Sam, has a lot to live up to but with a chorus that tells everyone’s favourite pundit Pat Spillane where to stick something, we have a feeling it will be very popular. Enjoy.

With the GAA drawing to a close for another year, many will turn to X Factor to get them through the dark winter nights. We can but pray for their souls. Anyway, the worlds of Donegal football and potential singing stardom collided on Saturday when Marcus Curran appeared on the Xtra Factor.
The Robert Emmett’s clubman is a former team-mate of All-Ireland finalists Karl Lacey and Paul Durcan from his schooldays and, according to a report in the Donegal News, he almost made it through on Saturday night.
Singing Paolo Nutini’s Pencil Full Of Lead, Curran got two votes, including one from Mayo’s own Louis Walsh, but that wasn’t enough to get the bacon delivery man through.

Thanks to today’s Irish Daily Star we now know that Ryan Tubridy will be at the All-Ireland football final and we also know who he will be cheering for.
The paper tells us that Tubs wasn’t too upset his native Dublin lost on Sunday because his other half, Aoibhinn ni Shuilleabhain is from Mayo so the Late Late Show man will be donning the Green and Red come September 23.
“It will be a really great final and I will be there and it will be great fun,” he said. Spoken like a true GAA fan, eh?
