It was a brilliant win over Wales, but we are still not tiring of re-watching that flick from Simon Zebo today at the Millennium Stadium.

Despite the ball falling slightly behind the winger, Zebo performed a soccer-style flick to keep the move alive and moments later Cian Healy finished off what the move deserved by touching down.

While all Irish fans were getting justifiably excited by the magic from the Munster man and Twitter almost going into meltdown, it was also catching on all around the globe, from those in the sporting know-how to those who are just merely admiring the audacity of the skill.

Australian play-maker Quade Cooper, one of the few players you would imagine would try something similar, was more than impressed by flick.

Even in the US, where the Super Bowl is dominating their sporting weekend, sections of the media marvelled at the skill served up by the Irish winger in Cardiff.

This article from Deadspin is aptly named “If This Play Is Any Indication, We Should All Start Watching Rugby”.

We couldn’t put it any better ourselves.
