OK, an After Eight is a bit of an exaggeration, but it really is thin.
Tim Cook has revealed details of the new Apple iPad Air 2, which measures just 6.1mm thick.
The 9.7 inch screen is 56% less reflective than previous incarnations, while the tablet’s camera is vastly improved.
According to Mashable, “it’s now an 8-megapixel iSight camera with f/2.4 aperture, able to capture 1080p full HD video — the same specs as the camera on the iPhone 6. It includes both burst and time-lapse modes.
“The front-facing FaceTime camera is upgraded, too, with an f/2.2 aperture that lets in 81% more light. It has improved face detection, the ability to capture HDR videos and a burst selfie mode.”
Battery life comes in at 10 hours, while the price? The iPad Air 2 starts at €509 for the 16GB version, €609 for 64GB and €709 for 128GB.
It will come in silver, space grey and gold.
