Finding apps that interest you can be tricky business with more than 250,000 available on the App Store. From iPhone mobile apps company Bitsmedia comes Frenzapp to make things that little bit easier.

Whether you’re a newcomer to apps or you’re one of the many potential clients come Christmas morning, sorting through the plethora apps currently available in search of the cream of the crop can be a longwinded process.

So, how do we use Frenzapp? Firstly, you don’t have to manually search for your favourite apps. It automatically discovers the apps you have running or used recently, then allows you to mark your favourites from the list it built for you.

Secondly, Frenzapp prompts you to share your favourites with your friends via your Facebook wall. You are simply encouraged to add or invite more Facebook friends to use the service.

Timeline shows a real-time feed, while Apps and Games shows you a ranking of apps by number of friends who favourite it. On Sale shows you apps whose prices have dropped over the last 30 days.

Frenzapp is available now in the App Store for free. It requires an iPhone or iPod touch running iOS 3.0 or later.
