How to see everything you’ve ever Googled in your life in one place

It's so simple

Joe Harrington

We’re not sure we recommend you doing this.

A person’s Google history goes a long way into giving you an insight into an individual and their personality.

Google probably knows you better than your family, friends and other half at this stage, you’ve revealed a lot in that search bar.

If you have a Gmail account, you can go and find everything you’ve ever Googled while you were logged in.

It’s all so simple, search this site history.google.com and you’ll be redirected to sign into your Gmail account.

Type in your password to login as normal and then you’ll be directed to this screen.

Click on the option button (where the red arrow is pointed) and click download. A warning screen will appear to give you a heads-up not to download this file onto a public computer.

Click “Create Archive” and a zip file with all the searches will be placed in a folder called “Takeout” in your Google Drive account. The file can then be downloaded to your computer.

Then if you’re brave enough, look back on everything you’ve ever searched while you were logged into your Google account.
