Though Crysis 3 won’t be hitting store shelves until early 2013, the first footage ahead of next week’s gameplay reveal should get the blood pumping.
The brief teaser, which we’ve included above, appears to hint that developers Crytek are returning the series to New York, albeit an overgrown, I Am Legend-inspired version of the city.
The PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sequelonce more sets an elite super soldier against an army of alien invaders and this time, it appears as though gamers will be armed with a bow and arrow/gun hybrid. That sounds pretty handy to us.
The first full gameplay trailer of Crysis 3 won’t be released by publishers EA until this coming Tuesday but until then, enjoy the teaser above.
