Did anyone find your carefully crafted joke funny? Did anyone even see it? Now you can find out…
Earlier this summer Twitter launched an analytics dashboard for verified users and advertisers on the platform. Now, they have opened up the tool to the rest of us and it makes for some very interesting reading.
It essentially breaks down each and every one of your tweets into two measures; impressions and engagements.
Impressions means the number of people who actually saw your tweet in their timelines.
Engagements means any interaction with the tweet, whether that is clicking on it to have a closer look, looking at your profile, clicking on a link, or favouriting and retweeting. Clicking on each individual tweet (see below) in the dashboard brings you into a more detailed breakdown of how the tweet was received.

There is also a ‘Follower’ tab, which breaks down your rate of new followers, where they are from, their sex and who they also follow.
The dashboard will also track your performance over 28-day periods, so you can see if you are getting better or worse responses to your tweets, opening up an endless world of Twitter anxiety is now at your fingertips.
