At 6pm today, May 21, the lads at Microsoft will finally reveal to the world what the new Xbox will look like. Or maybe they won’t and they’ll just do what Sony did at the PS4 reveal. We’ll just have to wait and find out.
Remember how we all got super excited at the thoughts of seeing the new PS4 back in February? Yeah, well Sony decided against showing us the finished console, because they hadn’t decided on a final design yet (or so they say), so here’s to hoping that Microsoft doesn’t try something similar.
There are a few things that we can expect at this evening’s launch including a more advanced Kinect, a rake of new games and ‘Illumiroom’. Now, you might be thinking, what in the name of God is Illumiroom? Well, the video below explains it best.
There are many artist interpretations of the finished Xbox floating around the internet, like the one below, but like we said, we’ll have to wait until 6pm Irish time to find out what the new Xbox will actually look like.

Check out the Xbox website here for the live reveal, but make sure to have a top notch 70mb Fatpipe internet connection from the lads at Magnet at the ready, because if the Xbox reveal is anything like the PS4 reveal, you’re definitely going to need it.
