As if we needed a reminder of how huge it is.
While some may argue that Facebook isn’t as popular with the youth of the world as it used to be, these new figures show that it hasn’t affected traffic on the site.
Having shared their second quarter findings, it’s clear that Facebook still has the lions share of the social media market with a whopping 1.49 billion people on the site every month.
Combined with their 800 million monthly WhatsApp users, they also have access to the younger generation who may not necessarily be on Facebook just yet.
Facebook purchased the messaging app in 2014 for $19 billion and since its last update in March, WhatsApp has over 100 million new users which ain’t half bad for just three months work.
