Football Manager does strange things to people, very strange things…
If you are, or ever have been, a Football Manager addict, then this story may not seem that odd at all.
Tales of FM-induced lunacy are far from rare and with the 2014 edition hitting the shelves last week, it didn’t take long for a spot of madness to hit the net.
A lad in the UK tweeted a picture of a friend of his who got fully suited and booted to play the game just because his team reached the Cup final.

The tweet has gone viral but anyone who has ever spent an entire night trying to gain promotion from League 2 will confirm the power of the game to make us slightly unhinged.
As an act of Football Manager inspired oddness, getting suited up is pretty up there but it doesn’t beat the guy we heard about who received a touchline ban and left the room at kick off, only returning at half-time to press start and leave again.
