A few notable changes here.
Much like a kid at Christmas, there’s a certain buzz among techies during this time of year because details are beginning to emerge about Apple’s latest plans for an updated iPhone.
Of course, the proof will only come out when the new phone is unveiled in September by Apple chief executive Tim Cook but The Independent published some of the images from tech designer Antonio De Rosa and his concept designs on the new model are very intriguing.
As for the functionality, the new model will run iOS 9 while battery life, apps and notes are promised to be improved upon. The tech behemoths have also stated that Siri will become more proactive in recognising your behaviour.
We can only speculate that this means that the Terminator films and the rise of Skynet was true after all. AI is taking over.
One of the main rumoured additions though is the inclusion of ‘Force Touch’ which as any Mac user will know, detects how hard you’re pressing the touch-pad thus allowing different actions to be carried out accordingly to the pressure exerted.
One rumour that he hope to be true when the final model is announced is the use of sapphire glass, basically a scratch resistant material that’s used in screens. I don’t think that I’m the only person in Ireland who has managed to smash their iPhone screen.
