Gamers across the world were eagerly anticipating the revelation of the new Xbox console this evening and here’s the picture they’ve all been waiting for…
Microsoft released this picture of their new console, the Xbox One a little after 6pm this evening and a whole load of information about what the little box will be capable of in what is the first major revamp of the hugely popular console since 2005.

With so much time gone by since then, consumers were expecting some pretty big announcements and from what we can gather so far, they won’t be disappointed.
It seems as if the new console is less a games console than an all-in-one entertainment system, combining the ability to play games along with watching television, browsing the internet and using Skype to chat to your friends, while it also incorporates cool stuff like being able to detect your heart beat while exercising and using a voice control activation system.
Users can also expect some refinements to the Kinect system that is already available for existing Xbox consoles so all in all, there would appear to plenty for people to look forward to ahead of its expected release, in the US at least, in time for Christmas.
We can’t wait.
