Ahead of tomorrow’s hotly-anticipated Playstation Vita launch, a duo of custom-built ‘PS Vita Vaults’ are travelling the country. Here’s how to catch them.
Sony Computer Entertainment Ireland is celebrating the launch of the highly anticipated PlayStation Vita (PS Vita) with a nationwide tour with a difference.
PlayStation has ensured that thousands of gaming fans will have the chance to try out PS Vita for themselves by creating two striking custom-built mobile sampling units, The PS Vita Vaults, which are touring the country over the coming weeks.
The Vita Vaults have been designed to ensure that Irish gaming fans get to experience the PS Vita’s many exciting features in a tailor-made gaming environment, while also getting the chance to play the wide range of games available on PS Vita from launch.
The PS Vita Vaults tour schedule is as follows:
- Limerick: Arthur’s Quay, Wednesday 22 – Sunday 26 February (12 – 9pm);
- Cork: Mahon Point SC, Wednesday 22 – Sunday 26 February (12 – 9pm);
- Galway: Eyre Square, Wednesday 29 February – Sunday 4 March (12 – 9pm);
- Waterford: John Roberts Square, Wednesday 29 February – Sunday 4 March (12 – 9pm);
- Kilkenny: Canal Square, Wednesday 7 March – Sunday 11 March (12 – 9pm);
- Dublin: Location TBC, Wednesday 7 March – Sunday 11 March (12 – 9pm).
The Vita itelf boasts a wealth of features which have got gaming fans in Ireland and throughout the world excited about the new possibilities for portable gaming: a 5-inch OLED multi-touch screen and rear touch pad, dual analogue sticks, front and rear cameras and six-axis motion sensing system.
All those who visit the PS Vita Vaults will also have a chance to win a PS Vita and copy of Uncharted: Golden Abyss. In addition to tha, gaming fans also have the chance to win an exclusive experience to have the PS Vita Vaults come to them. Interested?
