It’s terrible being popular isn’t it?
Are you constantly being inundated with stories from one of your friends on Snapchat? I’d wager that at times, you’re constantly wondering to yourself how many friends this person actually has because it seems like they’ve got a never ending supply of mates to go for drinks, food, the cinema etc with.
Well, brace yourself because those snappy-snappy chatty-chatty pictures aren’t going to slow down any time soon, especially since Snapchat’s latest update will allow you to add new friends by sharing a personalized URL within the app.

Snapchat users will know how frustrating it can be to add new contacts, especially if they’re not stored in your phone’s list, but it seems that the days of sending on your Snapcode or searching for a person’s username are over.
You can now add new friends by sharing your URL from the “Add Friends” menu by selecting the new “share username” option. There’s also a “add nearby” feature that allows you add new mates via bluetooth.
Good news for all you incredibly popular people.
