Good news for robots.
Google might have all the answers, but when it comes to IQ tests, computers have tended to fall short… until now.

For the first time, computers have beaten a test group of 200 people, thanks to new technology which enables an understanding of logic, maths and verbal reasoning.
Computers also struggled with analogies, classification and synonyms, but thanks to tech heads, the technology has shown that it can now outperform the average human.
Basically this means machines can now put words in context and decipher double-meaning sentences.

Now the technology assesses the question to determine if it is an analogy, classification, synonym or antonym. It then considers the multiple meaning of the words using logic to establish context.
Finally it solves the problem, bringing computers “a further step closer to the true human intelligence.”
Maybe we don’t need to worry just yet.
