The next iOS update from Apple has a nice handy workaround for the storage issue

No more deleting apps and videos

No more deleting apps and videos.

The latest iOS update for Apple users is due out in Autumn. The biggest issue for users in the past has been the need to make space on their device for the new update.

That involved a lot of deleting of apps and maybe some treasured videos and pictures, which inevitably led to tears and frustration.

However, Apple have addressed the issue ahead of the relase of iOS9 with a feature they call ‘App Thinning’.

This feature will temporarily uninstall apps to free up space for the upgrade. The apps will then be re-installed after the iOS update has fully loaded on your device.

What’s that sound? That’s the sound of a lot of people fist-bumping and high-fiving each other.
