With two new operatives, Alpha and Bravo, taking over the storyline, Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel looks like one of those rare games that can honestly promise something a little bit different when it comes to co-op gameplay.

Your characters are sent to the streets of Mexico to fight a deadly drug cartel known as La Guadaña, and the developers are promising that the game, right down to the level design, will encourage and reward proper team play and strategy, which makes this a pretty interesting title to get a hold of.

The demo is launching today on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live, and the demo gives a pretty good idea of what we can expect to see.

Pre-ordering the game will also get you some extra content designed by hip-hop star Big-Boi and B.o.B., who have both designed special skins and uniforms, as well as an exclusive mission featuring the two.

Check out the tune they’ve made for the release of the demo too.
