Keaton Keller, from YouTube channel TechSmartt, purchased the latest fruits of Apple’s labour to see how the phones hold up after being dropped.
Keller tests the phones resilience to being dropped from various heights, including pocket-height, phone-call height and above-head height.
Perhaps surprisingly, neither phone suffers any significant damage from the two realistic dropping heights. Dropping your new iPhone by pulling it out of your pocket or letting it slip as you chat shouldn’t cause you much trouble.
However, if your phone lands face down after you’ve dropped it from above-head height: shatter city.
