We hope that this glitch stays in the soon to be released FIFA ’13 game, we really do.
With only two weeks to go until the official release of the world’s most popular football video game, fans were able to whet their appetite and get a taste of what’s to come with the demo version of the game that was released earlier this week.
As well giving gamers a glimpse of what’s in store, it enables EA Sports to digest feedback from fans about the game’s positives and negatives and with over two million people in 73 countries downloading the demo in a matter of days, we’d wager that there was quite a response.
Plenty of that response possibly focussed on some of the glitches in the demo version, such as the hilarious consequences of a slide tackle, as is evident when Mikel Arteta crashes into Mario Balotelli in the clip above.
Chances are it will have been removed by the time the game is officially released, but it would be great if they left it in, in fact it probably would be the best thing about football games since the ability to slide tackle the ‘keeper and incur an immediate red card was heartlessly taken away from us a few years back.
