Don’t expect old Rusty to be shilling himself for Apple any time soon, as he absolutely tears into the technology giants after their announcement of two new iPhones and, more specifically, the Apple Watch this week.
Brand stresses that Apple’s off-shore finances alone could help to solve many of the world’s ills, while claiming that the company founded by Steve Jobs has a poor track record in terms of child labour and human rights.
“They’ve got more power than governments, they’re bigger than nations, they set the agenda for us, they tell us what’s right and wrong, and now they want us all tagged up.”
