Henrik Pilerud, a Swedish super fan of the online and action figure game, Warhammer, has created a cosplay costume that’s pretty damn impressive.

Now, we wouldn’t know a whole lot about the game Warhammer 40,000, but one thing we do know is that Warhammer fans are pretty damn loyal.

They love everything about the game and some go to great lengths to recreate some of the their favourite parts. Like Henrik Pilerud, who spent 400 hours over 10 months in order to build this 25kg, €2500 cosplay suit. Check it out…

The suit itself is impressive, but even how Henrik manages to move around in the massive thing is beyond us. It even makes some cool mechanical noises when it moves.

Here’s what Henrik has to say on YouTube: “I scratch built this Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine Blood Angel Tactical Sergeant, 7th company, 9th squad, costume as a fan (sic)”

“Height: About 215 cm/7′ (I am about 183 cm/6′ without armour). (To be able to move around easier and be able to use my own hands, the size is a compromise between proper SM size and a normal human.)

“Method: Pepakura (foam+hot glue) and some modifications to make it look more like the miniatures. And some aluminium rods, and screws and electronics.

“Eyes built from modified Glospex. Motion sounds comes from a Mega Stopm Panik.

“Getting dressed takes about 15 minutes, and requires a servitor.”

Let’s just hope he doesn’t wear it while playing the online version of Warhammer. We have a feeling the suit might get in the way of his broadband, let alone his keyboard.
