Pick of the night: Dispatches – Britain’s Secret Slaves, Channel 4, 7.30pm.

This documentary is part of a series of programmes highlighting slavery and trafficking, including the three-part documentary series The Hunt for Britain’s Sex Traffickers and the drama I Am Slave, which follows.

Movie pick: Bandits, BBC1, 11.45pm.

Two convicts escape from prison and embark on a high-profile and very successful bank-robbing spree, but a car accident leaves them with an extra accomplice – a bored housewife yearning for adventure. Before long her presence begins to disrupt not only their criminal enterprise, but also their friendship and a long-cherished plan to cross the border into Mexico and retire to the good life. Crime comedy, starring Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton and Cate Blanchett. Directed by Barry Levinson.
