Tony McGahan has named the Munster side to take on Italian newcomers Aironi Rugby in their Magners League opener on Saturday evening.
The side shows three changes from the fifteen that defeated Gloucester in a pre-season friendly last weekend.
Mick O’Driscoll, Billy Holland and Niall Ronan all come into the pack, with Ian Nagle, Alan Quinlan and Tommy O’Donnell dropping out.
Denis Leamy continues to captain the side at number eight, while Irish internationals John Hayes and Marcus Horan are amongst the replacements.
Kick-off for the clash is on Saturday at 7.30 at Musgrave Park.
