Everton defender Phil Jagielka has warned Wayne Rooney that he can expect a tough afternoon on Saturday when he returns to Goodison Park to face his former club.
The Manchester United ace is currently embroiled in a cheating scandal and Jagielka has said Rooney will not be getting the warmest of welcomes.
“He normally gets quite a bit of stick anyway. I can’t see that changing,†Jagielka said.
“I am sure Wayne can deal with it. He is a tough lad and he will let his football do the talking.”
