The month-long Masters of Fashion & Beauty event at Brown Thomas is underway and there is plenty for the Irish man among the 200-plus activities.

For one, Denim Fortnight, which begins on Monday, 20 September, will see experts from über cool brands including J Brand, Citizens of Humanity, Goldsign, Seven, Replay, Nudie and Diesel visiting the stores to give advice on how to select the perfect pair of jeans.
Fashion advisers including Darren Kennedy and Jeff Thompson will be in the menswear departments giving style workshops and discussing new trends for the season. Denim experts will also be on hand to advise on selecting the perfect pair of jeans, while Aussie Bum will be showcasing their latest collection of innovative and creative underwear.
Made to measure events with Zegna and Armani will offer the man who wants to invest in the ultimate bespoke suit, the opportunity to meet with an internationally renowned master tailor and custom make a beautiful, one of a kind suit.
The program also features a range of culinary events and a series of demonstrations will be given at the Waterford Wedgwood flagship boutique in the Dublin store. Those set to appear include Catherine Fulvio who will host an Italian Lunch, Nick Munier who will host a French Brunch, Sandra Dunlea who will host an Afternoon Tea and Arun Kapil who will host an Indian Supper.
Coffee connoisseurs can check out the new coffee emporium in Brown Thomas Dublin featuring Nespresso, DeLonghi, Bodum and Lavazza. Giuseppe Lavazza will also be in store on 23 September to showcase his world-famous coffee.
If you plan to go along with a partner, you could do worse than directing her towards the lingerie fitters who will be offering a complimentary fitting service. Experts will be on hand to advise your girl on wearing the best lingerie and shape-wear to suit her silhouette.
