Could it get any worse for Arsenal?
Last night they were dealt a massive injury blow as the in-form Theo Walcott was ruled out for six weeks.
The forward, who has been inspirational for the Gunners this season, damaged ankle ligaments in England’s 3-1 win over Switzerland on Tuesday night and will now miss the opening Champions League clashes against Braga and Partizan Belgrade as well as the crunch Premier League visit to Chelsea on October 3.
The news comes as another setback to Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who is also without Robin van Persie for a similar period of time due an ankle injury. The Star has more on this story.
