Stunning Irish singer Imelda May has today added a second live date for the Olympia Theatre – December 16 – after selling out her previous show this morning.
The news caps a hugely successful week for the Dublin singer, as her new album ‘Mayhem’ entered the Irish Album Charts at #1, while her first album, Love Tattoo, moved up to the charts to #4. Imelda’s chart achievement made her the first Irish female artist to have two albums in the top 5.
Imelda May live at The Olympia Theatre on December 15 sold out this morning but tickets have just been added for the aforementioned second date, which takes place December 16.
Speaking on her new album, Imelda recently stated:
“I’m over the moon with how Mayhem has turned out – I hope people enjoy it. I feel I’ve made the album I wanted that reflects the spectrum of all my influences from music past but is a record firmly in the here & nowâ€
