CLANCY STRAND has sound claims in the handicap hurdle at Listowel (5.15). He was possibly in front too early last time out and a few jumping errors didn’t help either. I’m sure Niall ‘Slippers’ Madden will hold on to him a little longer today and should be in the shake up.

In football, all eyes will be on the Britannia Stadium tonight as Stoke go in search of their first points in the Premier League this season against Aston Villa.
A new era may be dawning for Villa but the fans must remain patient before Gerard Houllier takes over the reins – he still has contract issues with the French Football Federation (FFF).
Stoke will have a rejuvenated look about them tonight if Tony Pulis hands debuts to Eidur Gudjohnson, Marc Wilson and Jermaine Pennant.
With Stoke desperate to get some points on the board, a draw looks like a good bet at 11/5.
