Ian Humphreys has shaken off a hamstring strain and will start for Ulster in their crucial Heineken Cup clash with Leicester tomorrow night.
The encounter at Ravenhill is a massive one for Brian McLaughlin’s side. Not only have they the opportunity to put themselves in an excellent position to qualify from Pool Four, but they also have the chance to severely compromise the Tigers’ chance of doing likewise.
Humphries and Pedrie Wannenburg were forced to leave the field during last weekend’s impressive victory over Edinburgh, but both have recovered in time and have been named in a starting line-up that shows only one change from the side that started in Murrayfield.
Irish centre Paddy Wallace – the recent victim of one of the most horrendous hand injuries we’ve ever seen – returns in place of Ian Whitten and will take his place alongside Darren Cave in the midfield.
The Ulster clash is the first in what is a cracking series of Heineken Cup matches involving the Irish provinces this weekend and it kicks off in Ravenhill at 8pm tomorrow night.
