Here we have a video showing you how good the Scion FR-S brakes are after a close call with an innocently frolicking deer.
Ever wondered what happened to Bambi’s mother? Well, lets just say she wasn’t as quick footed as the deer in the video above. While shooting on location for an advert featuring the Scion FR-S, driver Ken Gushi had to make a few unexpected manoeuvres.
Thankfully, Gushi races in the Formula Drift series so making last minute decisions are his bread and butter. The dear jumps out of the lush Northern Californian forest seconds before the speeding FR-S passes by and somehow manages to miss the car.
Luckily, no-one (including animals) was injured and thankfully Gushi avoided any live on-screen road kill.
