A video of an angry father punishing his daughter by shooting her laptop – repeatedly – has gone viral overnight.
Meet Tommy Jordan, the man from North Carolina who you wouldn’t want to p*ss off if you live under his roof. Tommy’s daughter found out the hard way that you don’t leave an addressed letter to your ‘hard-ass parents’ posted on your Facebook wall, especially when your dad is an IT specialist.
Tommy was doing what any good father would do when he agreed to upgrade his daughter’s laptop. It is his trade after all. However, Tommy somehow stumbled across a letter, which was addressed to him and his wife, posted on his daughters Facebook wall. So, as any father would, he read it.
Tommy’s reaction to finding the hurtfully worded letter is currently the talk of the town. As ‘punishment’ for the letter, which was filled full of complaints about doing chores, Tommy recorded an eight minute long clip of him putting nine rounds into his daughters precious laptop. In the video he vows to keep her grounded for “years” and calls her crazy for thinking he would pay her for doing chores.
The icing on the cake is the fact that Tommy posted the video on his daughter’s Facebook wall so that all her friends could see it too.
Recording yourself destroying one of your child’s most prized possessions sounds a bit much, but it’s certainly one way to get a message across. However, she probably deserves a break after seeing the video – not a battered laptop.
