An auto journalist in San Francisco managed to stumble across this beautiful Porsche 911, after it had become stuck in the mud… or cement to be more precise.
Do you own a Porsche? If you do, this image is probably worse than seeing a photo of your favourite pet dog strewn across the pavement after an encounter with a lorry. If you don’t own a Porsche, this photo will probably be your home-screen wallpaper for the next few weeks.
Jim Santos, auto journalist, snapped this photo during the week and it has since been doing the rounds on his Facebook and Twitter. Jim was testing out a new car (Jalopnik reports that he couldn’t specify which car) when he came across some road works.
However, instead of seeing the constructing workers standing around looking at each other, as they usually do, they were instead frantically trying to dig a Porsche 911 out of the fresh wet cement.
Jim said, “How much you wanna bet she/he was on the phone at the time?”
You have to love how he put ‘she’ before ‘he’. It’s funny how we instantly assume certain things.
Either way, we wouldn’t want to be the one’s picking up the cleaning bill afterwards.
