Looks like the NHL announcer Daryl Reaugh got a bit carried away with his comparisons for Mike Riberio's game winning goal against the Calgary Flames.

Looks like the NHL announcer Daryl Reaugh got a bit carried away with his comparisons for Mike Riberio’s game winning goal against the Calgary Flames.

In fairness to Daryl Reaugh, it was a pretty amazing overtime goal. Mike Riberio caught a free puck off the boards only to whip it behind his back and take an amazing slap shot. Luckily for him it was on target, and luckily for the Dallas Stars, it was in overtime.

For those of you who are not familiar with the manliest sport in the world, when a hockey match goes into overtime (or extra time as we’d say) the first team to score wins. ‘Golden goal’, if you will.

It was a great goal, but it was even better commentary. Maybe it’s because ice hockey is major a bloke’s sport or maybe Daryl Reaugh just had sex on his mind, but the veteran commentator just couldn’t help himself.

When the shot is replayed, we see Riberio for the Stars winding up for the shot, to which Daryl Reaugh says, “Here comes the stimulation…” we wont ruin the rest for you.

Just when you thought playing hockey while skating on ice couldn’t get manlier.
