Remember the story of the chicken McNugget that sold for $8,100 because it looks a bit like George Washington? Well, we think it looks more like Ireland.
The JOE team has been working hard today to try and find the resemblance between the chicken McNugget in question and George Washington. We’ve looked hard, but we can’t see squat.
However, we may have stumbled across a more striking resemblance.
Below you can see the McNugget and its apparent resemblance to the founding father, as reported by the Sioux City Journal.
However, when you flip the image over it looks more like Ireland, right? It even has the Galtee Mountains, the Wicklow Mountains and the Bog of Allen in the right place. Weird, huh?
(Granted, Cavan does more like the home of the Himalayas than the land of the drumlins.)
So did the person who spent $8,100 on a three-year-old McDonalds chicken McNugget of George Washington really get duped for an Ireland-a-like McNugget?
And more to the point, who knew George Washington looked a bit like the island of Ireland?
