Would you like to have a 30-60 minute coffee lunch with the CEO of Apple Inc.? Well, as one auction bidder recently found out, it costs a pretty penny.

The website CharityBuzz.com lets users bid on some pretty exclusive stuff like meet and greets with your favourite stars, walk on roles on your favourite TV shows and even a chance to get a tour of Jay Leno’s car collection (and he has quite the collection).

Last night saw a coffee lunch with Apple CEO Tim Cook going up for grabs and it looks like someone is seriously desperate to meet the man himself.

The winning bid came in at a whopping $610,000 (or €470,000 in our money) and it was placed by an unnamed bidder 30 minutes before the auction closed. The winner has only been named as “a********s”, which could mean anything really.

The money is going towards the RFK Centre for Justice and Human Rights and the Tim Cook auction has pulled in twice as much cash as the other 118 auctions supporting the cause. That includes the tour around Leno’s cars (which costs $7,750, in case you’re wondering).

The winning bidder will get between 30-60 minutes with Tim at Apple HQ on a mutually agreed upon date.
