You’re probably familiar with the website CollegeHumor.com. It was made famous by a comedy duo called Streeter and Amir who can pin their own success on a succession of hilarious pranks that make you wonder ‘Are these guys actually friends?” Their pranks on each other garnered so much attention that they were given their own show on MTV. Nice.
Well it looks like whoever was on shift last night forget to do their homework on the Irish chariots of fire that were chased down by the Gardaí. According to CollegeHumor.com, “This is How Russians Ride ‘Em Dirty”. Russians!?
It’s safe to say that the Irish lads in the video must have fairly strong accents if the Americans thought they were Russians. That, or they just saw mayhem on a motorway and assumed it was Russia. In fairness, nine times out of ten it is.
For a website that’s ranked as the 968th most popular website in the US, you’d think they would get their facts straight. Ah well, we’ll let them off for mistaking the Irish for Russians… this time.
