Al Pacino famously said that football was a game of inches. Of course he was talking about American Football, but this picture clearly proves it applies also to the GAA.
Former Armagh star Steven McDonnell posted an incredible picture from the Armagh football championship, and while it is a well trodden line that games are often decided by small margins, this picture clearly paints a thousand words.
The clash between close rivals Clann na Gael and Clann Eireann was an incredibly tight affair, with Clann na Gael edging the intermediate championship clash by a solitary point.
Which makes this goal-line catch by the victors, barely preventing the score, both an incredible piece of athleticism but also a match-winning moment.
