It’s a bit of a sad story if we’re to be honest, but how often does a race car smash into a deer?
Anyway, the footage comes from the inside of Corvette Z06, which was racing at this year’s HyperFest at Summit Point in West Virginia.
Sadly, Bambi couldn’t outrun the American muscle car and to make matters even worse for the Corvette driver, he was left a little more than red faced over the whole deer incident (no pun intended) thanks to the announcer.
According to the comment on the YouTube clip: Bad enough my car got smashed, but to add insult to injury the HyperFest emcee told ten thousand Hillbillians that I was responsible for the thirty minute Daisy Duke display delay.
Daisy Duke display? What the… oh, they mean ‘Lovely Girls contest. We love a happy ending to a news story. Or anything for that matter.
