So the Humpy Awards actually exist, and there’s even a video to prove it.
If you’re dog started humping your leg would you quickly brush it off and give it a cold shower to calm it down? Or would think “you know what, that’s award winning stuff right there.”
Obviously, one to many Americans thought the latter and now there’s actually an award ceremony for dogs who are great at humping legs. According to the description on YouTube:
The Humpy Awards celebrate a natural dog behaviour: the leg humping. This dog humping competition was judged on speed, style, stamina, mount and dismount.
Dismount? What is this, the Olympics for horny dogs?
We don’t know what’s worse; the fact that these people are actually letting their dogs hump their legs, or the fact that there’s an entire crowd cheering them on.
As the big hairy guy in the video says, “There’s the Emmys, the Grammies, the Webbys and now there’s the Humpys”. What more could you want?
