NASCAR announcer can’t remember his co-host’s name

There's nothing worse than forgetting someone's name, but it's twice as bad when you can't remember their name on live TV.

There’s nothing worse than forgetting someone’s name, but it’s twice as bad when you can’t remember their name on live TV.

Here we have Marty Reid who’s a bit of a veteran when it comes to NASCAR commentating. However, he’s human like the rest of us and he proved that this weekend when he had the mother of all ‘brain farts’ live on air.

It started off shaky for Marty in the first place when it looked as though he had forgotten the name of Dale Jarrett. Thankfully for Marty, he managed to avoid the embarrassment of forgetting his co-host’s name – that was until he got to the next guy.

For whatever reason, poor Marty couldn’t remember the name of Andy Petrees, the bloke on the right, but he did save himself slightly by saying ‘I know who you are and it’s great to see you.’

Anyway, check out the video above for the cringe worthy moment.
