On the last day of the Olympics our tweet of the day has to come from Paddy Barnes.
Here at JOE we have chronicled the adventures of the 25-year old who picked up his second light-flyweight bronze medal in the Olympics, narrowly losing by one point on countback by one point to his 2008 nemesis Zou Shiming.
Paddy has had his pictures taken with Usain Bolt, Novak Djokovic and tweeted Piers Morgan prior to his semi-final bout during the games.
He has also promoted his Twitter feed at the Opening Ceremony and in interviews with Marty Morrissey.
He’s has been teasinghis team-mates throughout like getting into a row over who is the snorer in the team with his fellow Belfast man Michael Conlan on Twitter.
Needless to say the man is a legend in and outside the ring and you have to follow him on Twitter here.
Our final Tweet of the Day is him good-naturedly taking the piss out of Wexford welterweight and Bray-based Garda Adam Nolan who lost in the last 16 of his weight division.
