Aengus O’Snodaigh helped to introduce a new word into the Dáil today, and the rest of Ireland too, as he attempted to explain the meaning of, “amazeyballs”, whatever that is…

We’ve heard the word “Amazeballs” being thrown around on the Southside of Dublin one too many times before, but we’ve never heard a politician say it, or at least attempt to say it in the Dáil… until now.

Sinn Féin’s Aengus O’Snodaigh tried his best to say “amazeballs” earlier today, but the Dublin TD instead came out with “amazeyballs”.

Aengus’ new word seemed to confuse the other TDs sitting in the Dáil (all three of them, by the looks of the video) including Social Protection Minister Joan Burton. We’re just glad he didn’t stick “totes” in before “amazeyballs”.
