Tweet of the Day: Frankie Boyle has a point

We can’t say we agree with everything he says, but Frankie Boyle has a point about one of the oldest clichés - and least offensive insults - in the book.

We can’t say we agree with everything he says, but Frankie Boyle has a point about one of the oldest clichés – and least offensive insults – in the book.

The Scottish comedian’s tweets must be handled with care at times – even reprinting some of them runs the risk of breaking a few libel laws – but often times he makes a good point, normally in as coarse a manner as he can manage.

We certainly can empathise with Boyle’s stance on one of the oldest clichés around and possibly the most least offensive insult ever thrown, something he made clear on his Twitter account earlier today.

Does anyone seriously take offence to the phrase ‘Jog On’ and if you wanted to have a dig at someone, would you not be better off taking a leaf out of Boyle’s book and tell them to ‘f***’ off instead.

As we said, he’s not always right, but he’s spot on in this case.
